Campaign Information

Since late June, 2019, StormEye team have observed a rise of Facebook advertisements related to Alan Tam’s secret investment.  It raised our caution that this might be related to a series of cryptocurrency scam or maladvertising events. The following screenshot shows one of the Facebook advertisements we have captured and collected.

The screenshot of the Facebook advertisements showed an example of the many collected Facebook advertisements.  All of the collected Facebook advertisements were related to the same topic: “Alan Tam’s secret investment”.  These advertisements were hosted by newly created Facebook pages or Facebook pages that share copied contents from other pages.
